Welcome to the application process for the SCP 16-19 ACADEMY.T he SCP Academy combines a full-time football and education programme for players who aspire to play professionally.
Entry requirements: 5 GCSE's at Grade C (4 or above) inc. Maths & English.
- To provide outstanding football coaching and related opportunities to young female players alongside a high quality, full-time academic education
- Allow committed players to play the game, learn and develop holistically through a structured programme of training, competitive games programme fixtures, physical and social development.
- Ensure all student athletes succeed academically and support them into their next steps whether that is higher education, playing professionally, pursuing a career in the football industry, wider sports industry or other employment.
This full-time football & education programme will be delivered with Juniper Education offering female students the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity qualification alongside, training everyday replicating a professional footballer with game days on Wednesdays.
Both the education and football programme will be delivered by former Director of Sport, Head of Years, UEFA qualified professionals Georgia Maxwell-Jones and Kat Clifton. Both of which occupy degree's including a Masters in Football Performance Coaching.
The Academy will be delivered every day from 9-3pm at the beautiful Aveley FC stadium, Parkside, Belhus, Park Ln, Aveley, South Ockendon RM15 4PX and on the state of the art 4G pitch.
Open to elite female football players currently in year 11. This is a fully-funded course with players only having to make a small paying contribution for the training kit.
